lawnmower by the pear tree

Yesterday, when I went to greet the mailman, I was shocked at how cool it was outside.
Remember, the only AC I have is the window unit in my dining room.
That only gets run at night, not during the day.
Not that it was used at all yesterday, nor will it be today.
At high noon today - in the middle of June - the temperature had only warmed to 69 °F.
Savannah has had rainfall every day for a while, so I have taken full advantage of this lapse in heat.
By "Quantum Leap" time, when Sam was the chauffeur for Marilyn Monroe, I had the front and side yards completed.
Isn't this seashell design just lovely?
It's a nice change from my 'sun and moon' pattern.
Plus, I gave the pear tree a circlet and chevron!
After my second "Quantum Leap", the battery had some charge and the day still had some light, so I started on the back yard.
Today, after seeing a continuation of the mild temperatures, I finished off the back yard, cutting it all to just the one height.
Maybe, in a couple of weeks when it's cutting time again, I'll mow a design into it.
No reason for the front yard to have all the sass goin' on!
Hmmm... I wonder what design it should have?
Suggestions?
(smile!)
