coffee, tea, or me?

Well, sports fans, it was dishwashing time again!
As a matter of fact, it's been time to wash dishes on multiple occasions since I last mentioned it, just proving what I said about hindsight and visions and all that.
(smile!)
Since last I bathed the silverware and china and drinking vessels, I have become more aware of my coffee cup collection.
That led to a resolution to show off the diversity of mugs in my possession...
to group like to like, so to speak...
to not approach this in higgledy-piggledy fashion.
With that attempt at order, I now present: The (no longer) Dirty Eleven!
Hey, movie buffs of old classics will get that joke... I know they will!
(smile!)

Yes, I realize there are only three here, but that's an exception that proves the rule.
What do these share?
Why, a love of science, naturally!
The tall green one commemorates the west Georgia state park where a chem nerd conclave with Alpha Chi Sigma was held.
The white one, celebrating the Avogadro constant at the heart of the mole, the one factor that allows math to have meaning for chemicals, was a prize won at a chem nerds trivia game, here in town.
The clear one with the red lettering was given to me by Sabitra Brush.
She and I both attended Florida State University and are Cheminoles - get it?
Hey, I did say 'sports fans' earlier!
(smile!)

What do these four have in common?
All are from trips I took solo.
The blue loggerhead is from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, my favorite place on Jekyll Island.
The one sporting the pink Cadillac came from a small diner I visited after AXE's 2014 conclave.
The dark red one was given as a souvenir by the 10th Annual Teaching Matters conference, held at Gordon College in 2012.
That was during my stint as a full-time teacher at Armstrong -
good times!
The huge white one with the zombie was "won" at Dave & Buster's on one of many trips to the one in JAX - very good memories!

These mugs are for memories made during travel with others.
The leftmost is from two years ago, in Kissimmee with the twins!
I'm so glad to have shared that old-timey park with Leila and Alyssa!
The next is from my trip downtown to Odd Lot with Jeff and Amy for a very special birthday for her!
The pirate mug has already been discussed.
That leaves lucky 'leven!
That features me with Smitty and Mary, on the beach in Ormond.
I had invited him to join me for a celebration of his birthday57...
and, to my joy, they came!
We even had Random Acts of Insanity!
(smile!)

Now, the dishes are drying and I need some entertainment.
Off to more of "Zoey's Extrardinary Playlist"!
I swear this full-of-song-and-dance show was written with me in mind!
i thank You, God!
