fabulous friday the 13th!

What, pray tell, was this?
This, dear friend, was the salad from Carrabbas
and my slunch yesterday!
Actually, that went along with my take-out meal
of ziti with sausage and peppers.
What a mound of food!
Plus, I'd snagged a roasted chicken at Food Lion -
major score for me meal here and now!
(smile!))
Soon, it was time to get dressed up!
The pandemic of 2020 will soon be upon us and I am determined to enjoy my night life while I can.
It was all I could do not to twirl as I passed this mirror at the Savannah Children's Theatre!
They had the play in their Black Box this time, but that was fine - a bit cozier than the main stage.
I'm just glad they decided to still have the play tonight - the final two performances are canceled.
And so, how was "Alexander and the Terrible,
Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
"?
Well, for starters, it was a musical!!!
I had not expected that!!!
So, that meant it was extra delicious for me!
At intermission, I bought the little koala pencil the
kids made for their fundraiser for Australia.
The project was even the SavChTh kids' idea!
I was going to buy popcorn, but... how often do I get
a chance to buy a koala pencil?
(smile!)
Then, after the show, I was out in time to hit the Starbucks!
I know, I sound excited, even though I don't usually go to that coffee house.
However, GEICO had sent me a five-dollar gift card after my flat tire.
That was two months ago.
Tonight, I snagged something I didn't even know existed: a sweet lunch box deal!
It's a Chicken Chili Wrap, with fruit and cucumber slices and a peanut curry dipping sauce - looks delicious!
Mission accomplished!
Such a grand Friday the 13th this has been!
(smile!)

I'm so glad I didn't know about his blog on my jubilant March 13th.

I only just learned about it today, from my friend Marguerite on fb.
The blog is written by 55-year-old Mark Murphy, local GI specialist, now on the rotation to help those dying from interstitial pneumonia after becoming infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Damn.
I'm so glad I didn't know about his blog on my jubilant March 13th.
