Every year, about this time, I always look forward to making my Christmas card list and sending paper hugs to those I know and love.
Not this time.
With 2020 being so out of the norm, a change was warranted.
This time, family and friends are getting Thanksgiving greetings as well as a 'newsletter' ripped from my blog's headlines.
The hug is coming early for them -
and they'll be able to follow my ramblings, should they choose to do so.
That'll be a little different perspective for them, and maybe a new tradition for me.
Love for them...
love for me...
i thank You, God.

I mailed out 20 of the cards Tuesday evening, at the post office after seeing "GOTG".
Yesterday, I handed Rico, the mailman, another 13.
Tomorrow, when I go to my first niece's house for her Thanksgiving repast, I'll hand-deliver three more.
That only leaves me four cards from the four packages of 10 each.
Hope I can find another package today!
Just to catch ya up -
I did find another package of cards!
Those have been addressed and mailed, except for the four left over.
That means a total of 46 cards to those I know and love!
The one to my stepmom Bonnie resulted in a 75-minute phone call between us - which was amazing, as much as we both dislike talking on the phone!
The one to my favorite post-doc, Andrew, resulted in him calling and us chatting for almost 1 1/2 hours! He even asked for an update about my invention!
Marvelous!
