well, if spiderman says so

I had been debating with myself for the last few days about which day to leave Hilton Head.
Sure, I had booked the place through Saturday, so that was definitely the last day I could still be here.
However, if I waited until then to check out, then that meant I would need to awaken to an alarm clock, most likely set for 8 AM... which was a good two hours before my usual time of getting out of bed.
Okay, so Saturday departure was definitely out.
Friday would be the day that best fit my personal groove.
Fine, I had tentatively planned on that already.
The trickier part was to decide when I would leave.
Did I want to take in one last movie at the nearby cinema beforehand?
They had the one about Tammy Faye Bakker, which wasn't playing in Savannah...
but I felt no compunction to see it.
Did I want to play another round or two of mini-golf?
No, I didn't quite feel like that, either.
Okay, then why not watch "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse" while I sipped my coffee and had brunch?
Why not, indeed?
I had not seen it since I'd bounced down to the drive-in in Jesup...
and that was last year.
So, that's what I did.
And this scene, where the black teen Spider-Man is calling his dad after saving the world - plus all the alternate worlds - brought to mind E.T. phoning home.
Hahahaha! Hahaha!
But what did the universe have scheduled after this?
"Spider-Man: Homecoming"!
Hahahaha! Hahaha!
Okay, I can take a hint!
By the time I showered and got everything into the car, it was mid-afternoon...
which meant I would miss the 5 PM traffic.
Hallelujah!
i thank You, God!
Thanks, also, to Royal Dunes for a wonderful stay with no "update" phone calls!
