It's mind-blowing!!!
Earth-shaking!!!
Titillating secrets!!!
Yes, that 's' means there are plurals involved!!!
And there were dogs, too!!!
The dogs were only plural in two cases, if you include invisible ones... and I do!!!
Hahahaha! Hahaha!
Can you believe those first three lines were uttered repeatedly at the Savannah Children's Theatre today?
You say you can???
Then you must already know that "Dragons Love Tacos"!!!
But don't try to put any spicy salsa on them, as that gives the beasts fiery sneezes and upsets their tummies, too.
(smile!)
I did not know, nor did the dog, Leroy, played by my friend, Danielle.
She even arf'ed a few times, especially when the doorbell rang!
How nice to see her, in person, again, so soon!
(smile!)
What do I mean by that, you ask?
Well, I just saw her last night!
She and Thomas were ushering for the Collective Face Theatre Ensemble's show.
Perhaps you've hear of it?
it's about a dog, one named Sylvia, that the husband found and brought home.
It didn't arf, though - it spoke, saying "hey, hey, HEY!" when it barked.
Fair warning, though, to leave the kids at home for that show!
Lots of F*bombs dropped at will from all involved!
Wait, I take that back.
The trio of characters played by Nathan Houseman - a snooty woman named Phyllis, a fellow at the dog park named Tom, and an androgynous couples counselor named Leslie - not only didn't say that expletive, but were the most fun in the production!
This show also had the invisible dogs making use of the park, including a definite he-man type that Tom called Bowser and that Saliva - I mean, Sylvia - fancied.
(Hey, that Jumble is one of the jokes in the play!)
(smile!)
Yep, that's right, as part of my 54th week of movies, "Paw Patrol: The Movie" was slap-dap in the middle of my trio, and it was slap-dap full of dogs, too, as there were at least six, and they all spoke and had their own fancy rides - nice!
My first viewing of "Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings" - in the Big D, of course! - and the second viewing of "The Protege", both seen with my movie buddy, Carolyn, rounded out that second week this month.
Come to think of it, those two might have had dogs roaming in the streets, but they weren't part of the plot.
What did tie those two films together?
Fabulous fight scenes that were beautifully choreographed like dancing!
Seriously, they were some of the most spectacularly intimate scenes that I've seen.
One made me consider taking martial arts classes.
The other assured me that my favorite Batman still lives -
and still gives me sweet dreams.
(smile!)
What about Week 55 at the AMC with the Big D?
Beats me, as I didn't go to that cinema even once this week.
All three on my A*List dance card were spent on a sixth viewing of "Free Guy" as well as second and third viewings of that Marvel movie.
I'm so glad there are two new, non-horror, films that opened yesterday!
At last!!!
But not today, as I am leaving the weekends to the teens.
I'm retired, so every day is Saturday for me!
(smile!)
